The Cougars went on the road Saturday to finish up their play before the holiday break. They came away with a 58-47 win over Gadsden State.
With the win, they finished the mont of December with a 5-0 record. It was also their sixth win a row.
The team had three players reach double figures led by Sloan Pender with 14 points on 5 of 11 shooting from the field. Kennedy Baker and Macie Collins also reached double figures with 10 points each. Kayla Lopez was next with nine in the contest.
Baker finished with a another double-double with 14 rebounds. It is her seventh double-double of the season. Mar'Nazha Houston was next with six while Pender finished with five on the day.
Baker and Lopez led the team with three assists, and Collins finished with two in the contest. Baker had four steals in the game.
The team is off unti the start of 2026 when they will host Southern Crescent on Saturday, January 3rd. Game time is set for 2pm EST.
