The Cougar ladies found themselves up against Walters State Wednesday evening. The ladies could never get their footing as the Lady Senators ran away by an 81-43 score.
The Cougars managed to only connect on 32.7% of their shots compared to 50% for their visitors. The squad ws outscored 20-8 in the second quarter to build a 20 point deficit by halftime.
Sloan Pender and Mar'Nazha Houston both scored double figures in the ontest. Pender had eleven points while Houston finished with ten. Macie Collins finished with eight points on the night.
Houston would have a double-double as she pulled down ten rebounds while Erin Dixon was next with four boards. Kayla Lopez and Damoni Kpana each had three ssists in the game. Pender would finish the night with two steals.
