The men's basketball team fell to Roane State in a conference matchup on Wednesday night. The Raiders pulled away near the end to hand the Cougars a 73-64 loss. This puts the teams record to 5-8 overall and 2-6 in conference play..
The Cougars tied the contest at 52 with eight and half minutes remaining in the contest. Missed shots and turnovers plagued the squad down the stretch as Roane outscored them 21-12 for the win
A.J. Horton and Kedrick Franklin led the team with 14 points each. Brandon Lanier also reached double figures with ten points in the game.
Horton, Lanier, and Zechariah Canidate each had six rebounds to lead the team. Horton, Justin Turner, and Seneca Robinson each had two assists. Robinson led with three steals in the contest.
