Cougar Golf Finishes in Fourth at the Atomic City Classic
After round one of the Atomic City Classic Cleveland State Golf was positioned in fourth place and following round two on Tuesday October 18 they shot a team score of 312 to finish the tournament in fourth. Host school Roane State won while Oakland City University came in second as the competition was completed at Centennial Golf course.
Cougar scores were led by Dalton Sutton who shot a combined total of 151 good for a sixth place tie while Nic Ravnborg stood alone in 13th with a 153. Cain Stover tied shooting a 155, Owen Kreuger with a 158 and Reese McFatter with a 161 tie finished 14th, 19th and 25th. Jarrett Glass tied at 27th with a 162, Bryce Barber shot a 166 good for 33rd place while Kipp Coker came in 35th with a 169.
Head Coach Caleb Evans said: "This week was good to have some individuals play to gain more experience. We still have a lot to work on and are looking forward to finishing the fall season at Nob North where we finished tied for 1st last year."
