VOLLEYBALL SUFFERS 1ST LOSS TO GADSDEN STATE
The Cougar volleyball team suffered their first loss of the season as Gadsden State came away with the tight 3-2 victory. The Cougars took the first and third set, but the Cardinals took the 2nd and 4th set to force the fifth set. In that deciding fifth set there were six times the score was tied with only the one lead change as Gadsden pulled it out 15-13.
Aaliyah Rodgers once again led the Cougars with 21 kills. Elanee Cotter and Kennedy Caudill were next with 13 &12 while both Caroline Church and Zowee Dillard each finished with nine in the contest.
Piper Bowers led the way 54 assist and four service aces. Isabella Messer was next with 6 assists while Kenley Jones had two service aces.
Messer had 28 digs while Bowers was next with 13 and Marissa Ray finished with 12 in the match. Rodgers had six blocks while Church and Caudill each finished with five on four on the night.
