COUGARS BLAST DYERSBURG; STAY UNDEFEATED
The Cleveland State basketball team stayed perfect for the year as they ran away from the visiting Eagles of Dyersburg State in the second half to claim a 91-68 win. Leading by nine at the half, the Cougars outscored their visitors 47-33 in the second half to notch their fourth victory on the young season.
Jordan Olison (pictured) led six Cougars in double figures with 20 points to go with seven rebounds. Victor Curry was next with 15 and continued a streak fo double doubles with 14 rebounds. Tevin Olison and Cam Copeland were next with 14 and 13 points apiece. Olison would grab three steals to lead while Copeland had five assists.
Romero Hill came of the bench and finished with 12 points with two assists and two steals. Elijah Weems rounded out the double scoring with ten points as all five starters reached double digits. Weems also claimed a double double of his own with ten boards.
