Cleveland State Softball will send another player from their 2019 squad to a four-year university.
Hailey Galvan has officially committed to play softball for the Railspiltters of Lincoln Memorial University. The NCAA Division II institution is located in Harrogate, Tenn.
Galvan led the Lady Cougars in hits and batting average in 2019. She also was the team's stolen base leader in both 2018 and 2019.
"We are happy that Hailey Galvan will be attending LMU to complete her college degree while playing softball," current Cleveland Sate Head Coach Steve Jaecks, who was Assistant Coach in both of Galvan's two years, said. "She has a wealth of athletic ability and can be a major contributor on the field of play."
