COUGAR GOLF FINISHES THIRD IN DISTRICT; TRIPP HALL QUALIFIES FOR NATIONAL
The Southeast District Golf Tournament was held Monday and tuesday at the Country Club in Morristown. Although the Cougars fell short of qualifying as a team, Tripp Hall would qualify as the lone individual to participate in the NJCCAA Division II Golf Tournament to be held at the Swan Lake Resort.
The Cougars would finish third behind District Champion Walters State and runnerup Roane State with a three round total of 321-307-316-944 (+80). Walters would claim the championship, scoring a 14 over par for the three rounds. Roane would finish four shots ahead of the Cougars for the second team spot.
Hall would finish in fourth place individually with a three day total of 74-78-71-223 (+7). Seth Moore would finish in 11th place by carding a 80-73-83-236 (+20). Isaac Lambert would score 85-73-83-241 (+25) which was good for 12th place. Carson Minish would have a three day total of 82-86-79-247 (+31) for a spot at 17th place.
Cooper Lemons would play in the last two rounds, carding a 83-94-177 (+33) while Jospeh Sadler would score a 85 (+13) in the first round.
