MEN'S GOLF FINISHES SEVENTH IN KALANICK MEMEORIAL; MINISH NAMED TO ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM
The Cougar men's golf team found themselves in 12th place after the first round of the Chuk Kalanick Memorial Tournament after the first round of play. Over the next two rounds, the team improved on their scores daily an finished in seventh place ith a three day score of 52 over par; 18 shots off the winning team's score.
Sophomore Carson Minish had a consistent tournament which got him named to the All-Tournament team as he finished in 9th place with a 74-72-76-222 (+6). In all, there were 18 teams competing with a total of 102 golfers in the event.
Isaac Lambert was next for the Cougars as he finished in a tie for 20th place with a three day total of 77-78-73-228 (+12). Seth Moore finished in a tie for 32nd place with a 77-76-79-232 (+16). Gray Loftin finished with a three day total of 80-83-76-239 (+23) for a tie at 55th place. Joseph Sadler was right behind Loftin as finshed in 58th place as he went 83-79-78-(+24). Joey Ruffin competed as an individual and finished in a toe for 80th place with a 86-88-84-258 (+42).
