MEN'S GOLF FINISHES FIFTH IN TRAILBLAZER FALL INVITATIONAL
The Cleveland State men's golf team finished 5th in the Trailblazer Fall Invitational this week in Pageland (SC) at the White Plains Country Club. The tournament was originally set for a one day, two round format, but was cut to one round due to inclement weather conditions in the area. The Cougars finished +26 (314), which was 13 shots behind the tournament champions USC-Sumter. The event was hosted by Northeastern Tech.
Carson Minish was low scorer for the squad with a 37-40-77 (+5) which placed him 11th on the individual leaderboard. Isaac Lambert finished in 15th place as he carded a 38-40-78 (+6). Seth Moore went 38-41-79 (+7) to finish in 19th place.
Gray Loftin finished in 27th place as he went 40-40-80 (+8). Jaxon chapman rounded out the with a 42-40-82 (+10) to finish in 34th place. Joseph Sadler Competed as an individual and finished in 38th place with a score of 42-41-83 (+11).
Next up for the Cougars is the Walters State Classic on October 6 & 7 in Morristown, Tennessee.
