We had to buckle down in the second half in order to pull off the win. We had to execute offensively and make stops defensively."
Next on the schedule for the Lady Cougars is a conference road matchup against Dyersburg State Community College. Head Coach Evelyn Thompson said, "We are looking to make improvements on both ends of the floor every time we practice or play, regardless of our opponent. We know that Dyersburg State will present a tough challenge. We are preparing this week to meet that challenge."
