Cleveland State's women's volleyball team has returned home from their most recent road trip, taking on Covenant College and Hiwassee College last Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. Moving to 11-3 on the season, the Lady Cougars improved their personal records of 2-0 over Covenant and 3-0 over Hiwassee. Cleveland State defeated Covenant with a final score of 3 sets to 2 while keeping their momentum as they took down Hiwassee in 3 straight sets.

During the Hiwassee game, down in the second set, 23-16, Cleveland State's Julia Gaither tossed up 9 straight serves to give the Lady Cougars a 25-23 win en route to a 3-0 match win. "It was incredible to watch," said Head Coach Randy Evans, "She really brought us back into the game and gave us the momentum needed to finish out the match with a win."
