The Lady Cougars used a strong second half to pull away from the Lady Pioneers of Volunteer for a 75-60 triumph. Cleveland saw themselves down 36-28 after the first two quarters as they fought to find their shot after their hard fought game against Motlow the night before. The came roaring out in the third quarter as they outscored their opponents 27-12 to go up seven at 55-48. A solid fourth quarter sealed the victory as they put up 20 points to Vol's 12 markers.
The Lady Cougars had four scorers reach double figures, but three were able to tally double-doubles in the win. Abby Hubert once again led the team with 27 points and added 10 rebounds. Ebony Kelley and Keya Jenkins each tallied 17 points and 10 rebounds. Julia Gaither rounded out the double digit scorers with ten points and had a team high six assists. Jenkins would have five assists in the game with four steals. Kelley would lead the team with six steals while Hubert finished with three steals.
