PREVIEW: Softball Travels to Georgia Highlands Tuesday
Softball looks to get back on track on Tuesday as they travel to Georgia Highlands for a two-game set with the Lady Chargers. The doubleheader is set to get underway at 2:00 ET.
The Lady Cougars were last in action on Saturday, when they lost a set of games at Wallace State vs. the hosting Lady Lions and Itawamba. Cleveland State now sits at 1-3 on the season. Georgia Highlands sits at 5-10 on the season, suffering a sweep at the hands of Southern Union State in their last series on Sunday.
The two teams met just once last season, with the Lady Chargers taking a 4-1 edge in their Border Battle Tournament.
After this matchup, the Lady Cougars will Jackson State on Friday and Saturday for their first conference games of the season. The four-game set with the Lady Green Jays will start at 2:00 ET on Friday and 1:00 ET on Saturday.
