Softball completed a successful fundraiser on Saturday. Saturday's event was the first annual "100 Inning" Fundraiser, in which the Lady Cougars 2019-20 roster played 100 total innings of softball over the course of ten hours.
"The Lady Cougars are well on the way to ordering new uniforms as the generosity of our supporters generated over $2000 as turnout of course of the day was significant," said head coach Steve Jaecks. "We'd like to give a special thanks to our Cougar parents, with the event being headed up by Mr. Dinger and Mr. Parker, who also provided a cookout for our players. There is no doubt the 100 Inning Fundraiser will become an annual softball event."
The Lady Cougars will play their first fall scrimmage of 2019 on Sept. 24 at the University of Tennessee: Chattanooga. Their doubleheader will begin at 5:00 ET.
