PREVIEW: Men's Basketball Finishes 2019 Campaign at Gadsden State

Men's Basketball will look to bounce back on Saturday as they travel to Gadsden, Ala. on Saturday to face Gadsden State in what will be their final contest of 2019. Tip-off is set for 5:00 ET.

The Cougars have had a tough stretch of games and have played to a 2-2 split in their last four contests. They suffered a loss 78-76 loss to undefeated conference foe Jackson State on a buzzer-beating shot on Saturday. The Cardinals are 9-3 to this point of the season and are in the midst of a five-game winning streak. They won 82-65  against Enterprise in their last game on Thursday.

Since 2015, Cleveland State holds a 3-1 edge in the series with Gadsden State. The two teams last met on Nov. 27, 2018 in Gadsden, where the Cougars suffered a tight 74-72 defeat.

The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020 when they host Gadsden State. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 ET.
