Gallardo Places Fifth at Berry Field Day
The Cougar Cross Country runner ran unattached in the 5000m on Friday evening on the track in Rome, Ga.
Cross Country freshman Derek Gallardo competed in the 5000m run at the Berry Field Day Invitational in Rome, Ga. on Friday evening.
Running unattached, Gallardo ran a 15:40.50 5000m time, earning him a fifth place finish out of 52 runners.
Gallardo will run with the cross country team on Saturday at the Westside Ruritan 5K at Walker Valley High School as a part of the team's out-of-season training.
