Cougars Golf Finishes Fourth at Alice Lloyd Last Shot Tournament
Cleveland State golf finished fourth in the Alice Lloyd Last Shot tournament in Danville, Kentucky at Old Bridge Golf Club last weekend.
The Cougars best round of the year came on Sunday with a team score of 293 going five over par as a team.
Three freshmen led the team with Carson Milen shooting a low round of 70, two under par, followed with a low round of 73, one over par, by both Carson Minish and Seth Moore.
Milen ended in a tie for 8th place overall with Minish finishing in a tie for 15th.
"This tournament give us plenty of confidence heading into the district tournament," Cleveland State head golf coach Shannon Skipper said.
The tournament was the last in the regular season with two weeks before the district tournament begins April 28 and 29 in Bristol, TN at The Golf Club of Bristol.
