Baseball will have one last chance to avoid elimination from the TCCAA Tournament on Tuesday at 2:00 ET against #2 Motlow State.
The third-seeded Cougars suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat last night vs. Dyersburg State, while the Bucks lost 7-4 to Jackson State yesterday evening.
During the regular season, these two teams met on March 15 and 16, where the Cougars fell in two of the three games. However, before falling to the Eagles last night, Cleveland State had won six of their last eight conference games and will look to carry that confidence into this do-or-die matchup.
The winner of this game will either face Jackson State or Dyersburg State at 11:00 ET tomorrow.
