Title: Assistant Baseball Coach

Grant Zawadzki joined the Cleveland State baseball staff in 2018.

Coaching Experience:

Zawadzki has five years of coaching experience. 

Playing Experience:

Zawadzki is a Cleveland State alumni and played two years of baseball for the Cougars. After playing for Cleveland State, he continued his career at Bryan College, where he was a two-time All-Conference member and an All-American once. 

He played five years of professional baseball for the Texas Rangers organization. He won a championship twice, once with the Lancaster Barnstormers (Atlantic League) and the Down East Wood Ducks (High A).

He also coaches two teams from the Diamond Academy in Dalton, Ga.


Zawadski attended Cleveland State before attending Bryan College for his undergraduate studies.


Zawadzki is from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, where he is the fourth of six siblings. He currently resides in Ringgold, Ga. and is engaged to Casey Griffin, who played softball at Cleveland State. He loves spending time with his three amazing nephews and nieces and also continues to give baseball lessons in his spare time.  He roots for the Boston Red Sox, where his brother is a hitting coach for their organization.
